If you watch the WE TV reality show ‘Tamar and Vince,’ you know singer/reality star Tamar Braxton is in love with her own song, “Hot Sugar.”
When she released her debut album earlier this year, she argued that ‘Hot Sugar’ should be one of her first singles. (Her ‘husbandger’ Vincent Herbert disagreed.)
Looks like Tamar finally got her way. “Hot Sugar,” a danceable urban pop track, was finally released — and the official video for the song premiered Thursday night on YouTube. Tamar unleashes her inner Beyonce in the ‘Hot Sugar’ video with plenty of ponytail swinging and not to mention male dancers in tight leather pants.
But Tamar might not have gotten the reaction she expected from her fans.
“I love Tamar and this song but Ifeel like this video is the cheap version of Beyonce videos,” one viewer wrote in the video’s comment section.
“This video should have been canned. Its cheap, horrible, and Tay looks a hooker mess,” another opined.
One user summed it up with the comment “hotmess.com”
